Jonathan Howard
Jonathan Howard, a promising young artist, graduated with a degree in Fine Art from Baylor University in Austin in 2022. Despite being a professional artist for only two years, he has already made significant strides in the art world.
Currently, Jonathan is showcasing a small exhibition of 12 canvases at The Blackheath Gallery. Titled 'Windows Into Beauty,' these paintings, which capture the stunning scenes around the Causeway Coast, are competitively priced at £110 each. This collection not only reflects his artistic talent but also aims to cover his airfare.
Jonathan's work has been accepted in galleries both in the US and internationally, demonstrating his growing reputation and appeal. His studio, located in Austin, Texas, serves as a creative hub where he continues to explore new compositions and techniques. While he works within the impressionist tradition, Jonathan infuses his art with a fresh energy and a unique personal style.
During his stay, his Causeway Coast-inspired works will be available for purchase, offering a rare opportunity for art enthusiasts. Upon his return to Austin, these pieces will form a distinctive exhibition, bridging a cultural connection between Austin and Coleraine. Supporting Jonathan Howard not only helps nurture a young artist's career but also represents a potential investment that could appreciate in value over the years.

Hanieh Norouzi
Hanieh Norouzi b 1979. Tehran
Hanieh has an MA in Art History from Tehran University and a BA in Fine Art from Belfast College of Art.
Hanieh has lived in Northern Ireland for several years, prior to coming to Belfast she exhibited in Iran. The forthcoming solo show of her paintings is work inspired by views around Shaw`s Bridge in Belfast.
Hanieh explains:
“I find when I am in a landscape I am aware of everything happening around me, the wildlife is constantly moving, changing every second. Nothing is still, everything moves. In my painting, I am trying to create a semi-abstracted image where nothing feels still, where you are in that landscape. Therefore I paint in a spontaneous and fluid way."

Bretislav Jungling
Bretislav Jungling
Czech artist Bretislav Jungling was born on the 28th of November 1921 in the small town of Kunčice in the Orlické Mountains. Jungling’s passion for painting and the arts were encouraged when he studied at the School of Applied Arts in Prague during the second World War. Jungling majored in Painting, specialising in the practice of watercolour under professor Fišárek. All his life Jungling painted predominantly in watercolour technique and devoted himself to both the practice of portraiture, whilst at the same time painting landscapes both in Czechoslovakia (especially East Bohemia) and in France, which he loved and created a large series of paintings from France. His love of nature led him to focus on the landscapes of Bulgaria where he developed an interest in seascapes. Jungling also worked on illustrations, namely that of Federico García Lorca's poems and original Czech fairy tales. Despite being a relatively unknown artist in the UK, between the 1950s and 1970s the Czech artist was a highly acclaimed realist painter, painting in watercolour throughout Europe.
